NDIS, or the National Disability Insurance Scheme, is Australia’s first national scheme for people with disabilities that provides funding directly to individuals. Managed by the National Disability Insurance Agency, or NDIA, the NDIS will provide more than $22 billion in funding a year to an estimated 500,000 Australians who have a permanent and significant disability.
NDIS, or National Disability Insurance Scheme, provides direct funding for people with disabilities to help them achieve their goals and enjoy life. This includes supports provided by home care services like Home Care Assistance.
To access funding through the NDIS, eligibility must first be determined, and then an application process completed. Home Care Assistance can help guide you through the process from application through to service provision.

Now that you have an approved NDIS plan, the next step is to coordinate the services and supports you need in line with your plan. At Home Care Assistance, we work with you and your family directly to make receiving your funded services a smooth and hassle-free process. Alternatively, if your plan includes a Support Coordinator, we can work together with them to get you the priority support you need put into place.
